Jobs, not leads.

A customer books the work and it lands on your job board. Accept it and the job is yours: no lead fees, no bidding, and nobody to chase.

There is water pooling under the tank and it started sometime last night.

The deal

You keep 80 percent. Duably takes 20.

That is the whole fee structure. Nothing up front, nothing monthly: Duably earns only when you do.

No lead fees
Elsewhere you buy a name. You pay whether or not the customer answers, whether or not three other pros are already quoting it, and you pay again on the next one. Here you pay nothing until you have earned something.
No bidding
A job on your board is not an auction. You accept it, the arrival window locks, and it belongs to you.
Materials pass through
The 20 percent comes off your labor and your service fee. What you spend on parts comes back to you in full.
No monthly fee
Nothing to buy before your first job, and you never pay to stay on the board.
The book work

You do the work. The rest runs itself.

Sign up, work, get paid. The quotes, the payments, and the records take care of themselves while you work.

The quote writes itself into the record
You price labor and materials on site and the customer reads the number in writing. There is no invoice to type up that night, and no argument later about what was said.
Duably runs the card
The customer’s card is authorized the moment they approve your quote, before any of the work starts, and charged when you mark the job complete. You never set up a payment processor and you never chase a check.
The payout is yours to take
Your payout releases when the customer confirms the job is done. Once the money clears, which is usually about two business days after they paid, you cash out to your bank whenever you want it. No minimum, and we take nothing to move it.
Every job holds its own file
What you found, the photos, the customer’s approval with the amount they agreed to: it all stays on the job. The receipt is emailed to both of you when the job confirms, and your 1099 is delivered in the app at tax time.
Getting started

You start the day you submit, not the day we finish reviewing.

Jobs show up on your board as soon as you pick your trades, and you can accept them as soon as your license for that trade and your proof of insurance are submitted. We review your documents in the background while you get to work.

Per trade, not all or nothing
Licensed for two trades but not a third? Take the jobs you are licensed for today. The third opens the moment its license is in.
If a credential comes back rejected
New jobs pause until you resubmit, and the jobs already on your schedule keep running. We tell you, you fix it, your job board reopens.
How a job runs

From the job board to your bank.

The real stages of a Duably job, in the order they happen.

It lands on your job board

Enough to judge the job before you take it.

The trade, the issue in the customer’s own words, the area, and the days and times they asked for. If the customer sent photos you see them too, as long as you are eligible to accept that job. The exact address and the phone number appear when you accept, not before. Browsing jobs and accepting them costs you nothing.

You accept and set the arrival window

One exact 2-hour arrival window, locked when you take the job.

You pick the arrival window, inside the hours Duably runs, which are 8am to 8pm by default. The customer’s preferred days and times sit right there while you choose, and picking outside them warns you first rather than blocking you. It locks the moment you confirm it, and the job is yours: nothing is re-opened to other pros behind you. If it has to move later, the customer approves the change before the appointment changes.

You go en route

One tap tells them you’re on the way.

When you head out, one tap tells the customer you are on the way and how long the drive will take. No need to call ahead from the truck.

Findings and a written quote, on site

You price the work in the app before any of it starts.

You record what you found, then quote labor and materials right in the app. The customer reads the number in writing while you are standing there, so everyone is looking at the same number from the start.

The customer approves the price

Nothing begins until they say yes.

If they decline it, you are still paid for the visit. The service fee was authorized before you drove out, and the job ends there.

The customer confirms it is done

Confirmed done, and the money moves.

Your payout releases into your available balance when the customer confirms the job is done. If they do not confirm within 24 hours, it confirms on its own. Cash out to your bank whenever you want.

For companies

Run a crew? Point it at the same job board.

Duably works for companies, not just independents. The company holds the account, accepts the work, and runs the job in the app.

Jobs are accepted by the company
You sign up as a company rather than as yourself, and marketplace jobs come to the company account to be accepted there. Your technicians are never out in a board of their own, competing for the work you are already licensed for.
One account, one payout
The schedule, the job records and the money all sit on the company account: one payout bank account, one cash-out history, one 1099, instead of one of each per person.

4
the trades we run

Four things decide whether you can start today.

Pick your trades
Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Appliance Repair. Work one of them or all four.
A state license for every trade you work
We check the license your company holds for that trade. Submitted is enough to start working it, and a trade you have not licensed yet simply stays closed until you do.
Proof of insurance
Account wide rather than per trade, so it is one upload for everything you do. Submitted is enough to start.

DuablySERVICE PROVIDER

Check the ZIP code you work in.

If Duably is open there, you can set your account up today. If it is not, the same check puts you on the list for pros, and you get two emails from us and nothing else: one confirming it now, and one on the day we open where you work.
